State pulls license of Missoula daycare in "hot car" incident

KPAX TV photo(MISSOULA)- A state agency is revoking the license for a Missoula daycare that was accused of leaving a 4-year old in a car while other kids watched a movie.

The operators of Tot Town Daycare told authorities employees got confused on the number of kids they had as they ushered them in for the popular kid's movie day at Carmike 12 back in mid-July. The boy wasn't hurt, but was described as being "red-faced and sweaty" when the group returned to the van.

KPAX TV reports the Department of Public Health and Human Services is revoking the daycare's license, giving them two weeks to close the operation.

Three employees are facing misdemeanor charges of negligent endangerment.
