Kentucky woman being held after Bozeman gun scuffle

(BOZEMAN)- A woman from Kentucky remains in the Gallatin County jail after prosecutors say she pulled a gun on several people during a fight that broke out over mediation in a civil lawsuit.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports 53-year old Mary Ann McCulley was in Bozeman for a mediation hearing when the meeting turned violent. Witnesses told police McCulley slammed some documents on the table, shouting that it was a "final offer" and then pulled a pistol out of her purse as she went toward the door. Prosecutors say three people wrestled her to ground, grabbing her gun before she ran to her car and drove away. She was arrested a few minutes later by Bozeman police.

The Chronicle reports McCulley is being held on a $1-million dollar bail after a court appearance by video on Thursday.
