Johnson appears in court Tuesday in Missoula- KPAX TV photo(MISSOULA)- The rash of wrong-way incidents on Interstate 90 continues, with a California man now facing charges of being in the wrong lanes while driving drunk.

KPAX TV reports Wallace Franklin Johnson was driving east in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Alberton, having several near-misses with other cars before finally hitting a vehicle near Turah. Montana Highway Patrol says four people in the other car had to be hospitalized.

Johnson has been charged with DUI as well as half-a-dozen charges of endangerment.

It was just over a week ago that an 8-year old boy and another drunk driver were killed in a crash involving wrong-way driving near Clinton.
