One person killed in crash outside Browning

(BROWNING)- Montana Highway Patrol troopers say driving conditions were "horrible" Tuesday afternoon when a car crashed and rolled outside Browning, killing one person.

KRTV reports the crashed happened shortly after 3 p.m. on Heart Butte Road a few miles south of Highway 2. Troopers say the driver of the vehicle lost control on the wet roads, sending the car into a barrow pit where it rolled over. Both people inside weren't wearing their seat belts and were thrown from the wreck.

MHP says one died in the crash, the other was taken to the clinic in Browning.
